I announced yesterday that I am going to be blessed by going to The Relevant Conference – and I leave tomorrow. Woah.
I’ve seen several ladies with a post similar to this, so here are ten things my Relevant Roomies, Natalie and Faith, should know about me:
- I have not been away from my 9 month old for this long. So any of the following can be expected: lots of crying and hyperventilation, multiple phone calls home, sound sleep, shock at the quiet, confusion as to why I have free time.
- I am a new blogger, so I’m thrilled to be going to Relevant, but I also don’t know what I’m doing yet! I might have stars in my eyes when seeing some of my blogging heros, like Amy Andrews and Crystal Pate.
- I am a Texan, which means in 100 degree weather, we sit inside and freeze in the air conditioning (wearing sweaters included). It has been a decade or so since I’ve seen fall leaves. Can’t Wait!!
- I am an intro/extro-vert. I LOVE people and get all amped up around them… until I crash and burn and need absolute silence and alone time.
- I love food, and my little man Samuel takes a crazy amount of calories from me, so I will be beelining it to any food/drink lines.
- Oh yeah… I’m still breastfeeding, so I will escape every 4-5 hours to pump. I’m apologizing in advance because you very likely will see my pumping.
- I’ll be flying into Philadelphia and driving to Harrisburg, so I’ll be pretty pooped on Thursday. And I’ll have a car! Not that we’ll have time to go anywhere!
- I don’t sleep very well when I’m not at home, so if I get up at 5 am, that’s why. I’ll quietly get ready and try not to bother you.
- I’m going to miss Samuel and my hubby A.Lot. I’m hoping that we’ll keep so busy that I won’t think about it.
- I will be praying for you both this week.
